The iconic London New Year's Day Parade (LNYDP) - a spectacular event that transforms the hear of London into a dazzling display of music, dance and excitement! It is an annual event that sees thousands of performers from all around the world 🌏 play, sing, march, dance, jump (that's us 😍), drive or ride through the streets of the West End of London on 1 January, offering an eclectic mix of musical and visual entertainment. The parade first took place in 1987, as the Lord Mayor of Westminster's Big Parade. The parade route is two miles (3.2 km) long.
This parade is the biggest New Year's Day street event of its kind. Last year, a record-breaking crowd of over a half million people lined the streets.
